British pop group One Direction is poised to make history this week as their debut album "Up All Night" is slated to enter the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 1, becoming the first debut from a UK-based group to achieve the feat.  According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album moved 176,000 copies in its first week thanks to a strong marketing campaign that saw the band signing autographs at malls across the US and performing on NBC's "Today Show" on March 12th.  The previous peak debut for a UK group's first album came in February 1997 when the Spice Girls freshman set "Spice" broke in at No. 6.  One Direction was formed during the 2010 season of Simon Cowell's "X Factor" singing competition show.
