According to a spokesman for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office, officials are still investigating the alleged incident in which R&B singer Chris Brown stole an iPhone from a female fan outside a Miami nightclub.  According to the initial report, a 24 year-old woman accused Brown of snatching her phone after she took a picture of Brown and fellow rapper Tyga and that charges were pending. 

Authorities initially suggested that Brown would be charged with theft by snatching.  But according to the latest statement from prosecutors, Brown has not been charged, and he has not yet been contacted to give his side of the story.  A conviction in the matter would likely spell trouble for Brown, who remains on probation for the 2009 assault of Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time.
