Thrash legends Metallica have been confirmed as the headlining act of this year's Sonisphere festival, scheduled to take place May 30th in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.  The festival comes as the band celebrates its highly successful, self-titled album (oftern referred to as the Black album) by performing it in its entirety at select shows, including Sonisphere.
