Soul singer Adele confirmed on Tuesday that she will perform at the Grammys on February 12th, marking her first live performance since she underwent vocal surgery last year. "I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year's GRAMMY Awards," the singer said in a statement. "It's an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all."
Adele will join previously announced artists such as Taylor Swift, the Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney, Nicki Minaj, Colplay and Rihanna at the ceremony, which will be hosted by LL Cool J. The Grammys will take place at 8PM on February 12th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and CBS will broadcast it live. With two Grammys already under her belt, Adele is up for anothwer six this year, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
