According to People magazine, actress / singer Zooey Deschanel has filed for divorce from hubby and Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard.  According to the report, Deschanel filed the papers on December 27th, citing irreconcilable differences, and listed Halloween as the date of separation.  The couple were married in 2009.
