Up-and-coming pop star Selena Gomez canceled a pair of holiday season concerts on Monday because of what her manager described as a "family emergency."  E! Online reported that the family emergency was a miscarriage suffered by the singer's mother, but Gomez's camp did not confirm that report.  Gomez was scheduled to perform Saturday at the B96 Jingle Bash in Chicago and Sunday at the KISS FM Jingle Bell Bash in Seattle, which has been canceled bow that Gomez and OneRepublic have both pulled out.
