Pop superstar Katy Perry is making a puch to become the first artist in history with Six No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 from the same album. As she gets ready to host the December 10th episode of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," the singer has discounted her latest single, "The One that Got Away." Fans can now purchase the sing for just 69 cents from the iTunes store, compared to the $1.29 that most current hits go for.
"The One that Got Away" is the sixth single from Perry's "Teenage Dream" album, and all six have reached the Top 10, making it only the seventh album to achieve that feat. The album's first five singles reached the top spot, making it the only album besides Michael Jackson's "Bad" to notch five chart toppers. With Perry set to host "SNL" and the song discounted, "Teenage Dream" may well become the first record in history with six chart toppers.
