Country singer Mindy McCready went missing Tuesday with her 5 year-old son, and a judge has given her until Thursday to return the boy to his grandmother who has legal custody.  According to police in Cape Coral, Florida, McCready was allowed to visit her son at her father's home Tueday, but disappeared with the child and hasn't been seen since.

Since landing at the top of the Billboard Country Songs chart in 1996, McCready's life has been rocked by charges of drug possession, DUI and domestic abuse, as well as a failed suicide attempt.  The singer took part in the 2010 season of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," and made headlines several years ago by revealing she had had an affair with ex-MLB pitcher Roger Clemens.
