Young country star Taylor Swift took home the top prize at Wednesday night's CMA Awards ceremony, winning the Entertainer of the Year Award for the second time in her career. The singer also claimed the prize back in 2009. There were also a handful of first-time winners at the ceremony, including the Band Perry, who won for Single of the Year and New Artist of the Year, while Jason Aldean surprisingly won for Album of the Year for his fourth album, "My Kinda Party."
Elsewhere, Sugarland continued its dominance of the Vocal Duo of the Year Award category, caliming the prize for the fifth straight year, while Lady Antebellum took home Vocal Group of the Year honors for the third straight year. The Male and Female Vocalist of the Year categiories saw repeat winners as well, with husband and wife Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert claiming both prizes for the second year in a row.
