Organizers of the upcoming Country Music Association Awards announced Monday that legendary singer Glen Campbell will be honored at the ceremony, scheduled to take place next Wednesday (Nov. 9) from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Former CMA Entertainer of the Year award winners Brad Paisley, Vince Gill and Keith Urban will salute the legendary artist, who has won the Entertainer of the Year Award himself, in 1968, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Cambell is currently in the midst of his farewell tour after being diagnosed with Alzheimers' Disease. The 75 year-old singer released his 52nd studio album, "Ghost on the Canvas" in August, and the set peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Country chart.
