Rapper Tone Loc, famous for his 1989 hit single "Funky Cold Medina," collapsed onstage over the weekend during a performance in Atlanta, Georgia, going into a seizure. The rapper was reportedly taken to a local hospital, where he was later released after being treated. His manager released a statement the following day that Loc was doing fine, and the seizure was the result of exhaustion.
Tone Loc, whose real name is Anthony Terrell Smith, has a history of seizures, having collapsed onstage in similar fashion at a 2009 Pensacola concert which doctors ruled was the result of overheating.
