An audio preview of "The View," the first single from the upcoming collaborative album from Metallica and Lou Reed surfaced on Amazon.com Sunday.  The single will be available for download from the retailer starting September 27th, and the album will arrive in stores around the world on October 31st, and in North America the following day.  The cover art and tracklisting were also unveiled over the weekend.
