New wave standouts New Order are reuniting for their first live performances in five years at a couple of charity concerts in October. The band will perform at the Acienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium on the 17th and at La Bataclanon in Paris, France the next night.  Proceeds from both shows have been earmarked to help artist / filmmaker Michael Shamberg, who has been struggling with a serious illness since 2005.  All of the band's original members will be in attendance except bassist Peter Hook, who left the band on bad terms in 2007, but keyboardist/guitarist Gillian Gilbert will re-join the band for the first time since 2001.
