Pop superstar Lady Gaga was ranked as the most powerful female entertainer on Forbes' Magazine's ranking of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women, ranking ahead of iconic figures such as Queen Elizabeth and Oprah Winfrey. The latest edition of the list, released Thursday, has Gaga at No. 11, with the only other musician on the list being her "Telephone" collaborator Beyonce at No. 18. At 25, Gaga is the youngest woman on the list.
Gaga previously came in at the top of another Forbes list earlier in the summer, that one ranking the world's most powerful entertainers. Forbes uses three criteria in compiling the list: earnings, media presence (both traditional and via social networking sites), and "power base points" (how widely one's influence is felt).
German Chancellor Angela Merkel topped the Powerful Women list, followed by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Click Here to see the complete Top 100.
