The Smashing Pumpkins announced a batch of tour dates over the weekend during which they will test out some of the songs scheduled to appear on their upcoming album, "Oceania." The mini-tour is scheduled to kick off October 5th in Los Angeles and warp up October 22nd in Philadelphia. Click Here for a complete list of the dates.
The band says they will perform a mix of classic hits in addition to debuting tracks from "Oceania," the band's first full length album since 2007's "Zeitgeist." The album is technically part of the band's 44-track "Teargarden By Kaleidoscope" project tentatively scheduled to hit stores early next year. In the meantime, the band is working on a pair of deluxe reissues of their classic albums "Gish" and "Siamese Dream," due in stores later this year.
