A Georgia production company called Done Deal Enterprises has reportedly filed a lawsuit against superstar rapper Lil' Wayne accusing him of stealing the hit song "BedRock." The suit also names Universal Music Group, Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment in the copyright infringement claim. Lawyers for the rapper and the labels named in the suit have declined to comment. Wayne has been ordered to appear in court on October 12th.
"BedRock," which features appearances from Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lloyd, was released on the 2010 compilation set "We Are Young Money" and rose as high as No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The lawsuit over the song is just the latest in a string of legal woes for Lil' Wayne, who has also been sued by a number of producers for unpaid royalties.
