Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd was released from a Boston jail Monday after posting $25,000 bond. Todd was arrested July 10th just before the band went ontage as the opening act for Soundgarden on armed robbery charges. The musician allegedly walked into a Walgreens drugstore in nearby Attleboro and threatened to blow up the store if he didn't get some OxyContin, an opiate-based pain reliever. Todd made off with six bottles of the drug, taking a cab to the arena where he was scheduled to perform. Authorities were able to track the cab and identify Todd as the suspect. The bassist has a history of drug abuse, having left Coheed and Cambria in 2006 to receive treatment for a heroin addiction.
