Lady Gaga's YouTube Channel Suspended for Copyright Violation

Despite being the reigning queen in terms ov page views on the site, even Lady Gaga is apparently subject to YouTube's copyright policy.  User's who visited the pop singer's YouTube channel on Thursday were greeted with the message:  "This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's Copyright Policy."

According to a report from 'Time OUt Tokyo," the account was suspended for hosting footage from Gaga's recent appearance on the Japanese television show, "SMAP x SMAP."  The 10-minute clip features Gag performing a medley of songs from her "Born this Way" album mixed with a series of japanese ad-libs, according to the report, and was taken down early Thursday morning following a copyright infringement claim.

The singer's YouTube channel was reactivated by Thursday night, and her VEVO channel, also available on YouTube, was not affected by the suspension.
