Legendary Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry confirmed on Twitter Wendesday that the band is getting ready to hit the studio to begin working on their first new album in ten years. "Whole band has plans to go into the studio with Jack Douglas second week of July to work on new Aero CD," Perry siad on the microblogging site. The band's frontman, Steven Tyler, recently wrapped up filming on his first season as a host of "American Idol," and has reportedly been working on some material with everybody but Perry. The relationship between the two iconic rock stars has been strained over the past year or so, but Wednesday's Twitter post would seem to indicate that Perry is ready to lay differences aside and get back to work.
