Jane's Addiction have reportedly joined forces with Guitar Center for the store's On-Stage program, in which an unsigned artist will get to open for the band during their upcoming tour.  Guitar Center began taking submissions from artists Wednesday on its website, and will continue accepting them through July 31st.  In addition to the opening slot on the tour, winning artist will receive $20,000 worth of gear from Gobson, a $10,000 shopping spree at Guitar Center, and a mentoring session with the management company that handles Jane's Addiction. 

In addition, Guitar Center is allowing fans to help judge the submissions, and giving away a $100 Guitar Center gift certificate each week to one participating judge.  Click Here for more info or to participate.  Also on Wednesday, Guitar Center announced that it will induct Jane's Addiction to its RockWalk on June 1st.
