MTV announced Wednesday that rapper Lil' Wayne will be the next featured artist on its "Unplugged" series, becoming the first hip-hop artist in more than a decade to appear on the show. Cameras will be rolling tonight when he takes the stage in Lod Angeles, and the episode will premiere June 12th on MTV, MTV@, and MTV.com. Wayne's new album, "Tha Carter IV," menawhile, is expected to be released around the third week of June, though Cash Money has not yet revealed an official date for the set's release.
