Johnny Preston, the crooner who scored a No. 1 hit song in 1960 with the song "Running Bear," passed away in Beaumont, Texas over the weekend. He was 71. Preston has reportedly battled a number of lingering health problems since having bypass surgery. Preston is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Michale and Scott; two daughters, Leslie and Lisa; and a number of granchildren and great-grandchildren.
