Coldplay is reportedly working with legendary producer Brian Eno, this time on the band's first concept album, their fifth overall. Eno also helmed the band's hit 2008 project, "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends."
"It's from the point of view of two people who are a bit lost," says frontman Chris Martin. "Two like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together."
No release date or prospective titles for the album has been announced, but the band recently released a holiday-themed single, "Christmas Lights" and a video for it, and have a pair of hidden gigs in the UK during the week leading up to Christmas.
