Rumors that have circulated since July of a Cars reunion are apparently true.  On the band's Facebook page, a 73-second clip showing the band, including frontman Rik Ocasek, working on a new song in the studio.  Sources close to the band have confirmed they are working on the first new Cars studio album since 1987.  The source also said the band is in the early stages of planning an extensive run of tour dates.
