Former teen idol Leif Garrett pleaded no contest to a charge of possession of heroin on Friday in a Los Angeles court. Garrett, 48, was not immediately sentenced and is expected to enter a drug treatment program to avoid jail time. Garrett was stopped by police on February 1st at a subway station because he was exhibiting "pronounced symptoms" of drug use, according to police. Officers searched him and found the heroin in his possession. He was previously convicted for possessing heroin in 2006 and sentenced to 90 days in jail after opting out of treatment.
