When Irish rock legends U2 performed their first-ever concert in Russia yesterday, dozens of activists from Greenpeace and Amnesty International were arrested before the show began. The Amnesty International volunteers were especially surprised with the turn of events, as they have a standing arrangement with the band and its management to erect tents and spread literature at all the stops on U2's 360 tour. All of those arrested were released the same day.
