Hole frontwoman Courtney Love and London & Co. have reportedly settled a lawsuit filed against Love over profits from the sale of Nirvana's publishing catalog. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.
Love is the widow of legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and has owned the rights to most of Nirvana's music since his suicide in Seattle in '94. London & Co. claimed in the lawsuit that Love had sold them a portion of the catalog two years ago for close to $20 million, but has failed to pay them their share of profits generated since that time. Attorneys for London & Co. reported the settlement to a judge last week and the case was dismissed.
