MTV has announced Deadmau5 as house artist for their upcoming 2010 Video Music Awards. The house producer will perform original electro versions of hits from various artists throughout the show.
"It's a wicked honor and privilege to do whatever the hell it is I am doing at the 2010 VMA's, and I am super stoked," said Deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman).
House artists for previous years' Video Music Awards include DJ AM, Travis Barker, Mark Ronson, and Wale.
