In 2007, Lady Gaga played one of the small side stages at Lollapalooza; few listened and even fewer cared. In 2010, Miss Gaga, now headlining Lollapalooza, spoke to the crowd about it saying, "I had no record deal. No one believed in me," she said, beginning to cry. "But we did it. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for coming to this show tonight."
Earlier that same day, honoring her climb to the top, Lady Gaga jumped into the crowd during the set of the opening act from the Monster Ball tour, Semi-Precious Weapons. The singer was wearing nothing but a pair of shorts covered by torn fishnet.
