The Kings of Leon had to stop their concert Friday night in St. Louis, Missouri after a flock of pigeons living in the rafters of the Verizon Amphitheater repeatedly bombed the stage with excrement. After seeing the opening acts leave the stage covered in pigeon poop, the band decided to give it a try.
"We couldn't believe what The Postelles and The Stills looked like after their sets," said Jared Followill in a statement released by the band. "We didn't want to cancel the show, so we went for it. We tried to play. It was ridiculous."
The band made it through three songs before deciding to call the show. Tickets are being refunded at point of purchase. The band continued the tour Saturday night in Chicago, Illinois. Click Here for a list of Kings of Leon tour stops.
