Legendary reggae singer/producer Lincoln Barrington "Sugar" Minott passed away over the weekend at a hospital in Kingston, Jamaica. Minott was 54 years old. A cause of death has not been given, but the singer had cancelled several shows in Canada last month, when he began experiencing chest pains. Funeral arrangements have not been announced. A new Album from Minott, "New Day," is scheduled to be released in coming weeks.
