Legendary British black metal band Venom have pulled out of this year's High Voltage festival, which is scheduled for July 24th and 25th at Victoria Park in London. The band's manager released the following statement:

"We announced the concert in February in good faith as we were informed that everything had been agreed in principle, although this is now clearly not the case.

"The band are very disappointed not to be playing at the festival, although their management are now looking at a possible replacement show in the U.K. for later this year.

"The band and management would like to apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused to any of their fans.

"Anyone who bought a ticket for the festival especially to see VENOM, and would now prefer to get a refund, should contact the ticket outlet where they purchased the ticket."

Meanwhile, the band's frontman, Conrad "Cronos" Lant, says the band will have a new album out this summer. Check out the clip below of the band performing its classic, "Witching Hour" last December in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
