Here's some first week sales numbers for some bands. I figured I would combine them rather than make several posts. All numbers are from US sales.
AC/DC's soundtrack to Iron Man 2 moved around 76,000 copies in its first week.
The ninth album from metal band Cathedral "The Guessing Game" sold around 700 copies in its first week
80's hair band Ratt just released their first album in 11 years. The band has reunited with original vocalist Stephen Pearcy and added Quiet Riot guitarist Carlos Cavazo. The result was "Infestation", which moved about 14,000 copies in its first week.....makes you wonder why they even signed with a subsidiary of freaking Roadrunner Records. They should have financed it themselves.
