An announcement from Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor on the band's official website promises new music from the band. "2010 has a number of things planned including new material from Nine Inch Nails and something else that isn't Nine Inch Nails," Reznor said. "I am in a state of rediscovery and reinvention that feels unfamiliar, unsure and exactly what I need."

Though Reznor announced that NIN will no longer be touring, he does plan to continue releasing music.
