As rapper Lil' Wayne awaits sentencing on February 9th for gun charges in a Manhattan court, his tour bus was stopped at the Mexican border Friday night and Wayne and 11 others on the bus were detained as Border Patrol agents found marijuana on the bus. All 11 were questioned and released and the matter was handed over to the Brooks County Sheriff's Office. A spokeswoman for the sheriff declined to comment when speaking with reporters. Lil' Wayne had played in Hidalgo, Mexico on Thursday night and was scheduled to perform in Laredo Friday and Corpus Christi, Texas last night. Both shows were postponed.
