Kid Cudi will no longer be the opening act for Lady Gaga'a "Monster's Ball" tour, according to a statement released by Cudi's representatives. The statement states the reason for the decision as Cudi's desire to work on his next album and acting commitments. The news follows a December 12th incident in which Cudi allegedly punched a fan, mistaking the fan for another fan who had thrown a wallet onstage earlier in the show. This marks the second time Lady Gaga has had to find another supporting act; her co-headlining stint with Kanye West was called off after West's infamous interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the VMAs. There is no word yet on who will replace Cudi on the tour.
