After being snubbed at the Academy Awards this year, "Anvil! The Story of Anvil" one the award for feature documentary at the 2009 International Documentary Association Awards. The ceremony was held Friday night at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles. The film, which follows the Canadian band on tour after decades of trying to make it in the music business, also took the award for best music documentary.
