Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood Appear on seventh "A Very Special Christmas"

Organizers of the seventh "A Very Special Christmas" album, which benefits the Special Olympics, is targeting a younger audition for the latest edition. Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Colbie Caillat, and others will be featured.

"That was the game plan," Vicki Iovine, "A Very Special Christmas" co-founder and wife of Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine, said in a recent interview. "On the first album we had all those superstars of rock, then we moved into pop...For Special Olympics it's important that the next generation sees it and understands it. So it's so huge to have the next generation step us as benefactors."

Since the first "A Very Special Christmas" album in 1987, the series has raised more than $100 million for the Special Olympics worldwide. It is the most successful benefit recording series in terms of money raised in history.

The newest album in the series hit stores on November 23rd and includes Miley Cyrus' version of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", Underwood's "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", and many more.
