Taylor Swift, the 19 year old country superstar, was named as the Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Awards ceremony held last night in Nashville, becoming the youngest performer ever to win the award. Swift also won the awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year ("Love Story"), and Album of the Year ("Fearless").
"I'll never forget this moment because at this moment everything that I ever wanted has just happened to me," a teary-eyed Swift said in her acceptance speech for the EOY award.
"I want to thank every single person here tonight for not running up on stage during this speech," Swift joked when accepting the trophy for female vocalist.
