Slayer's latest release, "World Painted Blood", broke Billboard's top twenty by selling 41,000 copies in it first week. The album debuted at number twelve on the charts. This is down from the band's previous release, "Christ Illusion", which charted higher than any Slayer release to date, at the number five position (selling 62,000 copies in the first week).
