Jerry Fuchs, a drummer for the indie band Maserati, has died in an elevator accident. The drummer was attending a fundraiser that helps children living the India's slums. He was using a freight elevator along with an unnamed friend and apparently, the elevator stopped just below the fifth floor. They were able to open the door and the friend was able to jump out, however, Fuchs shirt got caught yanking him down five floors. He later died at New York's Bellevue Hospital.
