Scott Weiland has confirmed in an interview with Spinner that Stone Temple Pilots will be starting work on a new album when the band gets off the road in January. "When we finish the album, there will be a big tour around its release and that will probably be a long tour," Weiland said. A report in the Las Vegas Review Journal in May said that the band already had 18 songs ready for the album. The band starts a 7-stop Canadian tour on November 7th then has two remaining dates in Biloxi, Mississippi and Thackerville, Oklahoma to wrap up the tour. Click Here for a list of tour dates.
