Jack Johnson's "En Concert" live album and video are slated to be released next Tuesday. Both were recorded during Johnson's 2008 European summer tour, when Johnson was joined onstage by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, and others. In other news Johnson has recorded plenty of material and hopes to have a new studio album completed sometime soon. 

"I think we're starting to get together a new album right now," Johnson said. "Whenever it seems like there's an album's worth of stuff around, I kinda just record it. I've been recording a lot of stuff on my own...and then all of a sudden the other night I was going through it all, and it seems like there's an album there again. I feel like there's a 60-40 chance we're going to put out an album by next summer and probably tour a little bit again."
