Taylor Swift continues to receive industry recognition, garnering six nominations for the 37th annual American Music Awards, including the coveted Artist of the Year award. Second to Swift in nominations is the late pop icon Michael Jackson, who is also up for Artist of the Year, along with Eminem, Lady Gaga, and Kings of Leon.  Eminem is up for five awards, and Beyonce, Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas, Kings of Leon, and T.I. all received three nominations.
