Chris Cornell joined Pearl Jam onstage at the Los Angeles Gibson Amphitheatre last night, reuniting the '90s grunge supergroup, Temple of the Dog. They performed their 1991 song, "Hunger Strike". It was the first time they have played together since 2003.
Temple of the Dog was formed as a tribute to Mother Love Bone vocalist Andrew Wood. Wood was roomates with Cornell, and Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament were in Mother Love Bone with him.
Also joining Pearl Jam onstage last night was guitarist Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains. Cantrell joined the band for a rendition of "Alive" and performed a slamming solo. At the concert's end, all the musicians came together for a bow. Check out the clips of "Hunger Strike" and "Alive" below.
