Sonic Youth have postponed a string of shows in the southwest including their October 4th performance at Austin City Limits. The band's guitarist, Lee Ranaldo, broke his wrist while playing tennis, prompting the postponements. Ranaldo is expected to recover in time for the band's European dates in October.

The rescheduled dates for the cancelled shows are:

Jan. 9 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Wiltern
