Madonna wrapped up her hugely successful Sticky & Sweet tour yesterday with the second show in Tel Aviv, Israel. The tour grossed $408 million, making it the highest grossing tour ever by a solo artist, and second only to the Rolling Stones' Bigger Bang tour of '05 - '07, which brought in an astounding $558 million.
Madonna set out on the Sticky & Sweet tour last August, and has since performed in front of more than 3.5 million fans, performing 85 concerts in 32 countries. She set a record for the largest concert attendance in Sweden ever when she drew 72,000 fans. She drew over 200,000 fans twice at shows in Sao Paolo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
