Kim Basinger is set to play Zac Efron's mom in Universal's, "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud."  She will be the "grieving mother of Efron's character, a caretaker at a cemetary who has weekly meetings with a younger brother whose accidental death he feels is his fault."
