When Down was in Tel Aviv, Israel on July 14th, vocalist Phil Anselmo (formerly of Pantera) performed an acoustic cover of Alice in Chains "Nutshell". A fan caught the performance on camera and posted the clip online. Check it out below.

The band is planning on releasing its next album by mid-2010. "I'd say probably late spring or early summer 2010," guitarist Pepper Keenan said. "We have six songs left over from the last session. Whether we use them for the album or not, we don't know," added drummer Jimmy Bower. "Probably not; maybe some parts."
