Aerosmith's last three shows in Cincinnati, OH, Hershey, PA, and Virginia Beach have been postponed due to an unspecified injury suffered by frontman Steven Tyler. Joe Perry commented on the postponement on his Twitter page: "Sincere apologies out 2 all Aero Fans regarding the canceled shows. It really bums me out too- you have no idea. Pray 4 Stevens speedy return." Perry later corrected himself, stating that the shows had indeed been postponed, not cancelled.
The band has made no official statements regarding Tyler's injury, but fans at Aerosmiths June 29th performance say it appeared as if Tyler pulled a leg muscle during the concert. The band still intends to perform tonight in Raleigh, NC, when they will welcome back guitarist Brad Whitford, who had to have surgery after he bumped his head getting out of his Ferrari.
